Getting Started on Jane: Schedule Promotions with Ease using the Calendar Tab
Boost your sales and engage customers by strategically scheduling promotions for your products on Jane. Here's how you can leverage promotions effectively:
How to Schedule Promotions
- Go to the 'Calendar' tab in Seller Admin to manage your promotions.
- Click 'Add Event' in the top right corner to create a new sale.
- Enter a Promotion Name for internal tracking.
- Set the Start Date and End Date (Sales begin at 12 AM PT and end at 11:59 PM PT).
- Optionally, add an Internal Description for reference.
- Indicate whether the promotion is Active or scheduled for a later date.
Choosing Discount Type & Products
- Select the Type of Discount: Choose between a percentage or fixed amount off.
- Choose Products to Include:
- Select ALL to apply the promotion to all current and future products.
- Select SPECIFIC to apply the discount to only chosen products or sub-categories.
- Use the Search Bar or drop-down menus to find and add products.
Managing Your Promotions
- View your scheduled sales on the Sales Calendar.
- Click on a promotion to make changes before it goes live.
- If multiple promotions apply to a product, the highest discount will take precedence.
Marketing & Promotional Opportunities
- Sync with Jane’s Marketing Events: The promotions you schedule through the Calendar could be featured in Jane’s marketing campaigns and curated feeds. Stay aligned with upcoming marketing events to maximize your exposure. Check out our Marketing Campaign Overview for key themes and campaign timing.
- Get Featured in Jane’s Daily Deals: Put your best deals forward for a chance to be highlighted in Jane’s daily email. Deals run for 72 hours and must be the lowest price ever on Jane and other platforms. Submit your top deals for approval and review the criteria!
