Trends to Watch + Customer Searches

Season’s Staples: What’s Performing

  • Gifting by Person: We’re seeing strong interest in curated guides—shoppers are seeking ideas by recipient (teachers, friends, him/her, kids) and by price point (under $25/$50).

  • Stocking Stuffers: Small, easy-to-gift items starting under $10 are converting well. Think accessories, beauty items, stationery, socks, and toys.

  • Holiday Decor: Customers are still grabbing festive pieces to spruce up their spaces. Ornaments, stockings, kitchen linens, and doormats are seasonal standouts.

  • Graphics that Sell: Holiday, funny, cozy sayings, and pop culture references in tees and sweatshirts are continuing to trend. These are staples for both owning and gifting—so bold styles, seasonal colors, and unique fonts still win!

What Customers Are Searching For

  • Christmas Tees & Holiday Loungewear (especially matching sets)

  • Stocking Stuffers for all ages

  • New Year’s Outfits – sparkly tops, dresses, and party jewelry

  • Teacher & Friend Gifts – practical or personalized wins

  • Ornaments & Themed Decor – final wave of holiday home refresh

  • After-Christmas Deals – bargain-hunters are ready to stock up!

  • Valentines Day - Valentines shopping starts as early as mid-December!

How This Helps You Sell:

Staying in tune with what customers are actively searching for helps you:

  • Time your product drops more strategically for sales.

  • Use keywords in titles/descriptions to match search trends.

  • Plan discounts or sitewide participation that aligns with major themes.

  • Re-list or re-merchandise items that fit seasonal interest (like cozy home, gifting by recipient, and fun NYE pieces).

Now’s the time to maximize your visibility and lean into the final rush of the year. You’ve got this!

Deals That Deliver!

How to Participate: Setting Up Your Promotions

Make the most of Jane's marketing campaigns by following these steps to participate effectively:

  • Set Up Your Promotions:
    • Add promotions for your entire shop, specific subcategories, or individual products in your Seller Admin calendar for the corresponding campaign dates.
  • Extend Your Promotion Window:
    • To maximize exposure, keep the promotion live for at least 72 hours beyond the featured date. Many customers engage with marketing campaigns a day or more after the email or event is released.
  • Include the Featured Category Name:
    • Use the featured campaign or category name in your Promotion Title to make it easier for our team to identify and spotlight your deals.
    • Example: "End of Year Sale - Accessories under $15, Handbags under $25 - 12/16–12/22."
  • Combine Products in the Same Promotion:
    • If your product fits into multiple campaigns or categories, list them in a single promotion title. There's no need to create separate calendar entries.
