Getting Started on Jane: Payouts & Payment Processing
We’ve partnered with Stripe as our third-party payment service provider to ensure secure and efficient payouts for our sellers. Here’s everything you need to know about tracking and receiving your payments on Jane.
Tracking Your Payouts
You can monitor your payout balances in the Payouts tab of Seller Admin. The payout balance includes the following categories:
- Available to Pay Out: Orders with the status "Open" that are eligible for payout.
- Available Soon: Orders with the status "Tracking Added" or "Shipped." These funds will move to the next payout stage once they meet payout requirements.
- In Transit to Bank: Orders marked as "Delivered" for at least three business days. These funds are currently being processed for deposit.
How Payouts Work
- Jane processes payouts through Stripe, ensuring fast and secure transactions.
- Payments are transferred directly to your connected bank account according to Stripe’s payout schedule.
- Payouts are typically processed within a few business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
Best Practices for Payouts
- Keep Your Banking Information Updated: Ensure your Stripe account details are accurate to prevent payout delays.
- Monitor Your Payout Status: Regularly check the Payouts tab to track funds at each stage.
- Ensure Order Fulfillment Compliance: Payouts are tied to order status, so process and ship orders on time.
