Jane is now a marketplace, giving you the ability to list products at both retail and sale pricing. However, the Jane customer remains highly focused on sales and promotions. This makes it crucial to be strategic when running sales, promotions, and participating in Daily Deals and marketing campaigns.

Since Jane is a curated platform, most of our feeds prioritize and highlight products on sale. Running promotions across your storefront can increase visibility, leading to stronger conversions and higher sales.


Key Strategies for Running Successful Sales

Run Storewide or Category-Specific Sales

  • Storewide sales (e.g., 10% off all products) can boost visibility across the Jane platform.

  • Category-specific sales (e.g., 20% off Dresses) allow for targeted promotions.

  • Tip: Avoid discounts below 5%, as smaller percentages (e.g., 2%) may appear unappealing to customers.

Utilize the Seller Admin Calendar Feature

  • The Calendar feature enables you to schedule multiple sales simultaneously.

  • Jane automatically applies the highest discount to each product to prevent stacking.

  • Example: If a storewide sale is 10% off and dresses are 20% off, dresses will receive 20% off while other products remain at 10%. Discounts do not stack (i.e., dresses will not be 30% off).

Take Advantage of Jane Marketing Campaigns

Each month, Jane releases a series of themed marketing campaigns designed to drive customer engagement and increase sales. These campaigns highlight trending categories, seasonal favorites, and curated promotions that align with customer shopping behavior.

How to Participate:

    • Schedule promotions for your entire shop, a specific category, or select products in your Seller Admin calendar.

    • Extend your promotion by at least 72 hours beyond the campaign date to capture post-event shoppers.

    • Include the campaign/category name in your Promotion Title for easy identification.

    • Example: "End of Year Sale - Accessories under $15, Handbags under $25 - 12/16–12/22."

    • If your products fit into multiple campaigns, list them in a single promotion title instead of creating multiple entries.


Maximizing Sales with Daily Deals

Jane Daily Deals are an excellent way to drive traffic and boost sales. Each morning, we highlight standout products in our daily email, creating excitement and urgency for shoppers. These 72-hour promotions showcase the best deals from our sellers.

What We’re Looking For

Amazing Deals: The lowest price your product has ever been on Jane or anywhere else.

Seasonal Favorites: Trendy, timely, and relevant to the current season or holidays.

Plentiful Stock: Minimum 150 units total (at least 20 per variant).

How It Works

  • Submit your product idea using this form to propose a Daily Deal.

  • If approved, we’ll confirm your promotion date via email.
